Give it Away: Books & Things

My old friend Molly is an editor for Harper Collins, and she was generous enough to send over some of her favorite young adult books for me to give away! I just finished Divergent by Veronica Roth and thoroughly enjoyed it; it was very Hunger Games-ish, yet its identity forged its path by the halfway point. I didn't relate to the main character Beatrice at first, but she grew on me by the end of the book. I'm excited for the second book in the planned trilogy to be released! I don't read many new-fangled modern books, as my time is normally spent with the likes of George MacDonald and C.S. Lewis, but I am so grateful to Molly for widening my old-lady horizon a little bit.

The second book I'm giving away is the heartwarming A Dog's Way Home, written by Bobbie Pyron. I haven't had the chance to read it yet, but I'm a huge fan of James Herriot and animals in general, so this one will probably be a winner. When I finish it I'll give a short review here on Coffee & a Cardigan.

I am giving away two sets of gifts:
Divergent, A Dog's Way Home, & We Love Colors croche tights in charcoal
Divergent, A Dog's Way Home, & a made-to-order flower wreath
